Learning Manners will make our spiritual journey so much better.

Makkah is the greatest place on earth for a muslim, every muslim around the world wish to visit the house of Allah, some save their money their entire life, i can not complain about this place because the feeling a person gets when visiting makkah and seeing the kaba'ah is really amazing but i must complain about the people. People come here on a spiritual journey so why is it that they can not follow simple rules. Firstly the Haram Masjied has become a restuarant, people bring their food and sweets and everything, i don't know how they get it past security but they do, my problem is not the food but the mess they leave when they are done, seriously is this part of Islam to leave the house of Allah in a mess like that, if they can do this in the greatest masjied how do their houses look, it does not take much effort to gather your dirt and put in a plastic bag and in the rubbish bin, okay i know there are cleaners but their workload is already so much, they dust everywhere every day, the vacuum every day and this is a huge place now they still have to pick up your dirt and scrub where your children mess. Secondly "MEN ONLY" or WOMEN'S ABLUTION AREA, why can't people read? Its written in arabic and in english and i think maybe in urdu too, i can't tell the difference between arabic and urdu, i found only women in the men only zamzam drinking fountains, some
Men had to wait for the women to finish filling their 1000 bottles before they can approach the drinking fountains, signs and rules are there to make it easy for us and protect us against mixing, In the women ablution area there were some women in niqaab taking wudhu i was one of them and all of a sudden a man decided to walk through for no reason, he could have gone around the wall and another came to fill his water bottle, the walls are made high to protect our modesty but then you get men like that that leaves us feeling violated. What happenned to considering others, we have so many teachings of hadiths on how we should behave as muslims and treat each other but people just don't seem to care, love and respect each other, the way they treat each other, talk rudly and push is just atrocious. No wonder we are always at war with each other. Learning simple manners like excuse me, please, thank you, making a que, and following signs will make the worlds difference.

Umrah

A thought just occurred to me, even though I have been on umrah before, I have just now come to realize that I am in a city surrounded by only Muslims, the hotel has only Muslims even the workers are muslims. I will never need to ask where the halal food section is. Subahan Allah.
